Welcome to our Schools.

At Rockingham Beach Primary School and Rockingham Beach Education Support Centre we strive to ensure:
- Students work and develop in a positive, supportive and encouraging environment.
- Students are provided with opportunities and look forward to each year with optimism.
- Students develop as individuals.
- Students respect the community, the environment and themselves.
Our campus is located within walking distance to the beautiful Palm Beach and adjacent to the environmentally renowned Lake Richmond. This situation provides ideal environments for teachers to enhance classroom learning through organization of a unique range of sporting and environmental activities.
One of the strengths of our shared campus is the benefits gained by students as a result of the excellent relationships that exist between staff, students and parents. Parents at both schools actively participate on a number of levels, from volunteering as parent classroom help through to being elected as a School Council representative.
We have an active Parents and Citizens Association responsible for operating the school canteen, uniform shop and providing funds to support the schools' programs.
The learning environments are air conditioned and the school is surrounded by extensive grassed playing fields, bordered by mature peppermint and eucalyptus trees.
Specialist programs in Physical Education and Music operate across both schools. Students have the opportunity to participate in choirs, learn musical instruments and represent the schools in interschool sporting carnivals.
The schools both have a strong commitment to pastoral care and the Chaplain is an integral part of supporting our families.
Rockingham Beach Primary School runs programs for children from Kindergarten through to Year Seven. The school offers a broad primary curriculum with a strong focus on Literacy and Numeracy.
The Education Support Centre provides highly individualised programs for primary school aged students with an identified intellectual disability who come from the surrounding areas of Bungaree, Cooloongup, Hillman, Safety Bay and Waikiki. Students with learning difficulties from the primary school are also able to access programs from the education support centre. The programs are prepared by our highly experienced specialist teachers following consultation with parents, psychologist, speech, physio and occupational therapists and reviewed on a regular basis. In addition to intensive literacy and numeracy programs, the centre provides excellent social skills, protective behaviours, pastoral care and physical education programs including weekly swimming lessons and horse riding for our students.
The centre has a fully equipped kitchen with laundry facilities. Great emphasis is placed on the use of information technology as an integral part of the teaching and learning process. All classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards with four computers per classroom connected to the school network enabling fast access to the internet and email.
